Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

The snow started about 9:00 this morning. These pictures are from our back landingon the second floor looking toward the HR building and the field beside the building.

Here are a few from home. It's starting to snow again (it's 5:00 pm). Maybe I'll have some prettier ones.

Family Photo

Jason was able to surprise us by coming home for Thanksgiving. Here is a photo from Sunday morning when he wore his Dress Blues to church.

Cousins' Weekend

Emory came to see her cousins in Texas for Thanksgiving. Some of these photos are from Meme's house in Victoria and the others in League City when Maddie, Emory, NatNat and Kimmie had a sleepover. The first photo here is actually the last of the day of the sleepover. The girls were exhausted after playing all day. Here they are watching Dora on the TV. Shortly after, they took baths and headed to bed! :)

Family Visit

Five Generations:
Little Meme (Jeanne), Meme (Judy), Grandma Kimmie (Kim), Melissa, Maddie & Gianna. (I guess Melissa and I should have switched places!) :)

Little Meme holds her great-great granddaughter, Gianna, for the first time.
Just another Saturday afternoon - Maddie and Tsunami sit on the doorstep and solve the world's problems.

Is Maddie telling Tsunami what to do or is he telling her what to write down?? :)
I'm spotted - Maddie says "CHEESE!"
And now Tsunami says, "CHEESE!"
Aren't they cute? Tsunami loves his Maddie!
It was a busy day. Grand Dad and Gianna catch a cat nap!

Octoberfest

We are celebrating our Second Annual Octoberfest at work. I missed the fun last year because Charlie and I were in Colorado. After our costume contest, the VP's will be grilling hamburgers for everyone. There is a pumpkin contest - but our team didn't participate! :(

Here is a photo of the Incredible Shrinking Woman (Robbi who has lost 103 pounds!) and the Little Ol' Lady from Pasadena (I think you'll recognize her!)

UH Football and Homecoming

Charlie and I went down to UH about noon for the Homecoming activities. Lots of tailgating and visiting. We tasted chicken smoked by Coach Curl, the Women's Basketball coach and ate lunch with the Alumni Association. These photos are from the Homecoming Parade. Shasta andSasha are featured. The "real" Shasta and Sasha were brought back for this special occasion. Oh, Yeah - UH won 38-15. Go Coogs!
Touchdown - Coogs Score!

Weekend at Kimmie's House

My Golden Raintree has turned from yellow to pink and Maddie discovered one of the petals that had fallen to the ground.
Maddie and Tsunami were having fun investigating the backyard on this pretty fall day.

Notice the boots? Kimmie let her change from her Sunday shoes to her boots!

Mommy and Gianna were enjoying the patio also.

The girl has so many different expressions!
Maddie took me out to the Raintree and told me to take her picture. Then she posed!

Tsunami and his buddy making plans!
Running and having fun!

BFF's.
Maddie found this stick horse when Melissa and I took her shopping. She picked it up and immediately started riding it! Melissa had to buy it for her!

So sweet!
No, Maddie isn't asleep - just Gianna. She just wanted to lay on the quilt beside Gianna - for about five minutes. Just long enough for me to get some pictures.

Isn't she beautiful?
Mommy and her girls. Yes, Maddie is "cheesing."
