The Victoria High School Class of 1979 celebrated our 30th Class reunion this weekend! Wow - does time fly by!

The Girls are Back in Town! Dawn, Shelley, Gayle and I had a great time sharing high school memories and photos of our families! I guess Gayle and I didn't want to good times to end - we bumped into each other on Sunday on our way home at the Buckee's in Wharton. We were both craving a Dr. Pepper Icee!
Mama Bird is back! Just waiting for the two of them to fly off into the sunset. I need to restring my guide wires for my grapevines and I hate to do it while they are in one of the arbors connected to the wires! Will keep you posted!
We saw the Baby Dove spreading out its wings yesterday and flapping them. This morning we noticed that Mama Dove was gone and this afternoon, she is still gone! This time the theme is Mama's Gone not Baby's Gone!
Can you see it? Look toward the left side of the basket - its little black eye is quite noticeable.
Last Friday, Charlie and I went on a ride down to Quintana Beach. Coming into Surfside the road was blocked off for the transport of a wind turbine blade. I had no idea how big they were. Two of the photos are of the same blade trying to cross the road and turn the corner. The others are blades in storage waiting to be transported.
Here are some pictures of our new Mama bird. Charlie has seen one baby but I haven't seen it yet. This Mama bird is a little smaller than the first one and looks younger.
