Gardening with Grandma Kimmie

I was doing a little bit of yard work on Saturday trying to get beds ready for planting. I found some of the fattest earthworms - which I hope is a good sign for growing season. When I showed Maddie the earthworm, she went and put her gloves on so she could hold it in her hands. We didn't get the camera fast enough - the little worm started up her glove toward her arm - that worm was quickly back in my palm! A little bit later, we found a big, fat toad. She had me put him on the table and she said, "Stay, Toad, Stay." It was fun day.

Maddie decided that her Princess soccer ball wasn't big enough!

Easter Egg Hunt

We're off to see the Easter Bunny...
Aunt Natalie  shows Maddie the ropes.
Maddie quickly figures out how to find the eggs on your own!
Maddie shows Natalie her "loot!"
Gianna wonders why she didn't get to hunt for eggs!
Daddy Jahno, Madeleine and Gianna
Time to head back to Kimmie's house.
Aunt Natalie shows Maddie how to sort through her candy.
Gianna has an egg - but no candy....
Or does she??????
Just fooling..I gave her the wrapper from Daddy to take the picture - then I took it away! :)

Welcome Home, Gianna!

Gianna was released from the hospital and came over to our house after going home for a nice, long nap! Look at all of her expressions!

Fun at Kimmie and Grand Dad's House

Maddie stayed at our house while Gianna was in the hospital. She found ALL kinds of things to do for fun!
Maddie was running in circles in the backyard. I started taking pictures and she would run a lap, stop and look at the pictures that I had just taken and then take off again!
After all of her hard work, Maddie needed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and no one makes a PB&J like Grand Dad!
A little bit later, I took out the violin that Big Mimi gave me that was hers. Maddie has been learning how to play the violin in her music class. I took this photo and when she was holding the violin and using the bow my memory card was full! We'll get that one another day!
In fact, Maddie woke up at 6:30 the next morning saying, "I want to play the vi-o-lin!"

"Tut, Tut...It looks like rain."

Maddie loves her umbrella and can open it all by herself. After opening it up, she always says, "Tut, tut...It looks like rain." Kimmie taught her that - anyone know where it comes from?

Picnic for Three (and more)

Aunt Natalie and Maddie decided to have their lunch outside because the weather was so pretty. Tsunami invited himself!
But then Natalie made Maddie wash the dishes!
Actually, it started with Maddie playing with the bubbles in the sink and then she decided she wanted to wash dishes!

Sisters

I just found this one on my phone. Isn't it cute? Maddie was reading to her little sister!

Downtown Hot Springs and Beyond

We've arrived on Central Avenue in Hot Springs and we are ready to sight see and shop!

Natalie feels right at home in Princess Land at the Wax Musuem!
Here's Natalie with Dopey, Sleepy and Sleepy 2!
This is Slowpoke - a tortoise at the Hot Springs Aquarium. For her exercise, they let her wonder around the aquarium. She would face the camera when you took her photograph!
Our next stop was at one of the spas for a mineral bath and massage...but the guys had to make a stop on the way!
We were ready to load up and it started to snow! 72 degrees on Friday and Saturday and 37 degrees on Sunday!
Silly Natalie!
